Eating in Lacco Ameno
Restaurants near the Fungo in Lacco Ameno: dining a few steps from the sea
The Fungo sits a few metres from Corso Angelo Rizzoli. The surrounding stretch concentrates some of the island's most consistent seafood restaurants. Here's what to expect.

01
The neighbourhood
Corso Angelo Rizzoli is Lacco Ameno's pedestrian spine. On one side the sea and the Fungo; on the other, coloured houses and small shops. In about 400 metres you'll find several of the island's historic restaurants, gelaterie, a couple of wine shops.
02
What to expect
Classic Gulf seafood cooking: raw fish, spaghetti alle vongole, pesce all'acqua pazza, fried paranza. Local wines (Biancolella, Forastera, Per'e Palummo). Service in several languages — Lacco Ameno has always been international.
03
La Cantina del Mare
At number 20, a family-run restaurant led by Pierpaolo Iovinelli and Patricia Gialloreto. Day's catch from the boats of Lacco Ameno and Casamicciola, list of the island's volcanic wines, service in five languages. Outdoor tables looking onto the corso.
04
How to move around
The whole Lacco Ameno centre is pedestrian. In summer, park in the lots above and walk down (5 min). In winter you can park closer.
05
Reservations
In high season (June–September) and on weekends, always book, ideally two days ahead. Off season, calling on the day is enough.
